Weekly Announcements October 31 to November 4

There is no school tomorrow, October 31st. It is a teacher work day.   

 

Tuesday, November 1st is Parent Teacher Conferences. There is no school for students that day.  Conferences are from 10:30 till 6PM.   Teachers will not be available from 2-2:30 for their lunch break.  There are no appointments needed to meet with teachers.  Report Cards will be handed out at conferences.  If you are unable to make conferences, please contact the school office and we will help you make arrangements with the teachers you need to meet with.  

 

School resumes on Wednesday for students.  

Next, Thanks to all the families who donated socks for Socktober, the service project student council was sponsoring.  We collected 404 pairs of socks!!  The socks will be donated to local agencies to help people in our community.    

 

District Interim testing begins this week.   6th graders will test on Thursday, and 7th and 8th graders will test next week.  Students test on Math and ELA.   This helps guide our instruction so our expectation is that students do their very best.  

 

The fall soccer season wrapped up yesterday.  Congratulations to all the students and a great job on their season.   We have 12 students who were selected to the All Star Team, which will play in an upcoming game.   Congratulations to

Finally, the boys basketball season begins this week.  We have an away game on Wednesday against Vineland and we host LPI on Thursday.  All game are in the gym and begin at 4:30PM.  Good luck to the boys, Coach Gavin and Coach Cruz as the season begins.
