Heaton Middle School
In order to create a safe environment for our students as they enter and exit the building, this year the access loop in front of the building will only be assessable to buses. We encourage parents to use the drop off loop on the north east side of the building to drop students off. This is the loop that sits on the corner where Montebello and Calhoun cross. In the afternoon, we also would encourage parents to park up and down Montebello, Calhoun and Caledonia and arrange a designated point to meet your child. Adair, the main street in front of Heaton, can be very congested and trying to park along there can cause additional congestion. Also, this year in the afternoon, at the Corner of Adair and Calhoun, it will be a right turn only option when turning from Adair on to Calhoun. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation with these new changes which are being done to keep all students safe and help traffic to flow.
